This absurdly unjust situation involves a Montana teacher who raped a 14 year old student and only got 30 days in jail for it. The suicide of the victim, combined with the intervention of an activist judge (who appears to sympathize with pedophiles) led to this terrible miscarriage of justice..and guess what, the Judge is considering another run for office next year.

Lets face it, Washington is filled with politicians who are simply stupid or ignorant about reality–most of the right wing falls into this camp, but the Democrats are certainly not exempt. Unfortunatley, people in other countries are sometimes ignorant to this fact, thus they take demonstrably unserious politicians seriously.

People outside of the US need to stop giving credibility to the crazies who have lied and tricked their way into Washington offices (ex. Cruz, Bachmann, Gohmert, etc.), simply because the status of an American politician used to command some respect.

The AP has reported that the NYPD has illegally spied upon numerous mosques in NYC. They use their interpretation of an anti-terrorism surveilance program in order to start infiltrating and bugging mosques, despite the fact that they have no probable cause.

If this can be done to random mosques because a minuscule minority of Muslims are involved in terrorism, then what about using it against the GOP (as 56% of terrorism is right wing) or even the big banks (after all, HSBC laundered money for terrorists)?

Stop this illegal program and demand that the NYPD immediately cease its illegal surveillance of religious institutions, based on nothing but bigotry.
